The engineers at Universal Thermosensors have been supplying temperature measuring devices for over 40 years. Based in Sittingbourne in Kent, the company has a highly skilled and experienced team designing and manufacturing finished product in the UK, and specialising in the company's core products of Mineral Insulated Thermocouples and Resistance Temperature Detectors.


The Company was established in 1971 as a licensee to the Atomic Energy Authority for the manufacture of Nuclear Reactor Grade Thermocouples, using sophisticated and tightly controlled processes. The same principals and high standards for thermocouple manufacture have been carried forward in all current products.
